Implementation

The class will complete an open-ended preassessment about what plants and animals need to survive. Students will illustrate and/or respond to questions about the needs of all living things. Students with knowledge and/or interest and motivation will be part of the advanced learner experience. Anchor activities will be available as a management tool for two instructional groups.

Teachers will monitor groups as experiments are set up and data is recorded. Students who demonstrate complete or partial understanding can be part of the advanced learner experience.
